  1. Start cooking the pasta in salty water.
  2. Divide butter into eighths, place into mixing bowl, blanket with ground pepper.
  3. Grate cheese into separate bowl, put some aside for garnish.
  4. When pasta is done, mix pasta into the peppered butter until the butter is melted.
  5. Gradually mix cheese into the buttered pasta, adding more when mixture is incorporated, and occasionally adding a spoonful of pasta water to maintain creamy texture.
  6. Plate the pasta, garnish with remaining grated cheese and pepper.
